Warranty

I do everything I can to deliver each engine in top condition. But if something does go wrong, we’ll sort it out together as soon as possible.

Important: Always follow the installation guidelines. Not doing so can affect your warranty.

From what I’ve seen, most post-rebuild issues aren’t in the engine itself, but in the attached components: sensors, turbo, injectors, DPF, crankcase ventilation—you name it. That’s why we always check the car first when a problem comes up, to find the root cause there.
Don’t replace or disassemble parts without consulting me first—it only makes it harder to diagnose the issue properly.

If the problem can’t be solved in the car, or it turns out the issue is in the engine itself, then the engine must be removed and returned to me. I’ll disassemble it as soon as possible and inspect everything thoroughly. Once I know what’s going on, I’ll get in touch. There are three possible outcomes:

1. The problem is in the supplied engine

That means it’s my mistake. I’ll fix the engine and send it back in working order. I’ll also cover the removal and installation costs, calculated at €50 per hour.

2. The issue was caused by installation or misuse

In that case, it’s not a rebuild error. I’ll give you a quote to repair the engine. You can then decide if you want to proceed with the repair.

3. No clear cause can be found

Sometimes, there’s just no obvious reason for the issue. If that happens, we’ll split the costs: I’ll make sure the engine is 100% again, and you handle the transport and removal/installation.
